Practical support throughout your stay
At Alpine Friends, we aim to make your catered chalet holiday relaxed, enjoyable and straightforward from the moment you book.
Our standard seven-night stay includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea and cake, six home-cooked evening meals with wine, and welcome drinks. For shorter stays, the catered package is adjusted to suit your dates, with everything confirmed before booking.
We can also help with the practical details that make a ski holiday easier: ski hire, lift passes, lessons, transfers, local recommendations, children's meals, dietary requirements and restaurant suggestions.
Whether you're travelling as a family, with friends, as experienced skiers or complete beginners, we're here to help you make the most of your time in Châtel.

We are happy to help where reasonably possible, but some arrangements depend on local providers, weather, resort conditions and guest requirements.
Before you arrive
Once your booking is confirmed, we can help you think through the main details of your stay: transfers, ski hire, lift passes, ski lessons, children’s meals, dietary requirements and any practical questions about the chalet or resort.
Our aim is to make arrival feel calm and organised, so you can settle in and enjoy your first evening without trying to solve everything at the last minute.
For anything arranged through local providers, we will point you in the right direction and help where reasonably possible, but bookings and availability may depend on the supplier.
During your stay
During the week, we are on hand for everyday questions, weather and ski-area advice, restaurant suggestions for your chalet night off, and local ideas for non-skiers, families or mixed-ability groups.
After skiing, the focus is on making the chalet feel calm and easy: breakfast in the morning, afternoon tea when you return, catered evenings, wine with dinner and a comfortable place to relax together.
We keep the service personal and practical: helpful where needed, but relaxed enough that the chalet still feels like your own space for the week.

Airport transfers, ski hire, ski lessons, lift passes, childcare, activities and restaurant bookings can often be helped with or arranged through local providers, but these are separate third-party services and may involve additional cost.
